It is hidden among the houses in the western outskirts of the town. The waterfall is located in the valley of the small Kiselchovska river and its height is 20 meters. The area close to it is called Salihagova urva. Folk memory associates the waterfall with Salih Aga – local ruler of these lands in the time of Ottoman domination. He was used to give out justice and threw bodies of the guilties from the rocks of the waterfall.
Arda river spring
It is located close to the state border with Greece. In fact it is one of the seventeen springs that give start to the most majestic Rhodopean river. Cold water springs under a century old beech and will have to travel many miles cutting through the Rhodopes until it reaches Maritza river.
It is located near the village of the same name. It is a picturesque waterfall with 12 meters of height. The valley of the creek is a rarely beautiful and wild gorge surrounded by high rhyolite rocks and old coniferous forest.
Until a decade ago it was a mining area with a few uranium mines. Their remains are a strong reminder of the Gold Rush in Alaska.
Kazandzhidere is a small creek near the village of Mugla. Nature here is quite preserved and the place is picturesque as the floating water has been burrowing the rock in the river bed for thousands of years. Activity of water has formed rock basins that look like caldrons.
